About UsWelcome to The Crossing at St. Luke’s, where an ancient Christian tradition intersects with contemporary music and topics. We invite you to join us on our journey of faith, where we seek to transform lives by providing a community that prays & praises God through ancient/contemporary worship, proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ through Biblical preaching, builds and binds the Kingdom of God through membership, fellowship and study, and serves God through ministries that serve our church, our neighbor, and our world.
As a part of St. Luke’s, The Crossing seeks to be a vibrant means of growing the Kingdom of God through offering a worship service that is rooted in our Anglican tradition, relevant to our culture, and built around relationships.
To live this out, The Crossing is structured around these four principles:
Prayer & Praise: To provide a worship service that is centered around our Anglican Liturgy and Contemporary Music (To include: Contemporary Christian Music and Contemporary arrangements of traditional Hymns)
Proclamation: To provide biblical preaching that is relevant and reaches into the lives of its members through both lectionary and topic based series.
Build & Bind: To incorporate individuals into active membership through providing and encouraging participation in fellowship opportunities (Fellowship Lunches, Movies Nights, etc), and biblical study (Small Group and Sunday School).
Service: Provide education and opportunities for service in ministries both within the church (Alter Guild, Greeters, etc), and in the world (Austin Street, Honduras, etc).
